Hi! Today’s review is about Clarins skin illusion loose powder foundation, I've been using this for a long time, so I thought It would be good idea to write about it.
 Since I’ve been here I the blogging world I haven’t seen a lot of Clarins posts, I guess maybe people thinks it’s an old people brand or idk, but I have tried some products of it and they are pretty good.
So,lets see what clarins says about this product.
Silky, loose powder foundation—with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts.
Creates a radiant matte finish and a natural, bare skin effect. Built-in blending brush lets you decide the coverage—from light to medium.
Dermatologist-tested. Oil-free.

Ingredients:
A unique blend of mineral and plant-based trace elements includes:
Pink Opal Powder to infuse skin with radiance;
Pink Algae extract to stimulate and tone;
a special “Light Optimizing +” complex to capture, amplify and diffuse light.
Visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. Clarins’ exclusive Plant Micropatch maintains hydration, comfort and a soft skin texture.
Fights free radicals and pollution.

What I think: I have oily/combo skin and this, at it says leaves a matte finish, which I love because it doesn’t look cakey at all, it has great coverage, when I use this I always get complements about my skin being clear, as the name of the product says, it creates a skin illusion because you can really see that perfect skin look, and it doesn’t look like you are wearing makeup.

I usually wear this after I put my foundation, but just on my nose and forehead and still looks natural. This doesn’t flakes or accentuates dry patches.
This is dermatologist-tested and oil free, perfect for every skin type I think, this didn’t break me out, this has a smell but for me it’s really pleasant and it doesn’t stay on the face.
About longevity; it lasts a pretty decent amount of time, like 6 hours without my nose being all shiny.
The packaging is super beautiful, it looks really nice on your desk or wherever you put them haha, also, it has that little brush, I really like it, its great quality, but as you can see, it’s pretty bulky and I think it’s quite difficult to travel with and I guess this is a drawback for some people.
It’s pricey, or at least for me it is haha, but whenever I can, I would repurchase.

Have you tried this or have you used Clarins products? What do you think?

¡Hola!
