Affordable options for Kat Von D Double dare liquid lipstick

4:29 p.m.

Hi guys, today I decided to write about some good affordable options, not exactly dupes, for Kat Von D’s everlasting liquid lipstick in shade Double dare, which is 20 dollars. I also gonna give my opinion oubt the formula.

Let’s see what Kat Von D says about her everlasting liquid lipsticks
THE life-proof lipstick that will not wear off! Yes, you can eat, drink, make up, break up and mouth-off knowing your lips are gonna stay flawless through it all!
In 28 to-die-for shades, this creamy formula glides over lips like a gloss and sets to a true matte finish. Along with 24-hour wear and high-pigment color, the next-generation formula is packed with natural moisturizers, including Vitamin E and Sunflower Seed Wax. All-day wear has never felt so comfortable!
My opinion: I thinks it isn’t life proof haha, when I drink or eat it comes off, it isn’t kiss proof, it’s so sad because I thought it was going to be awesome, the formula is good, it doesn’t dry my lips, it looks good, it feels really smooth.
As I said, for me, this comes off pretty easily, so it doesn’t stay on my lips for 24 hours, at least that’s for me, as I said.
The options I choose, are super affordable, first I have Tiramisu from Jordana (review), which is my favorite, and Bumble fromColourpop (review) .
As I said, they’re not entirely dupes, but they look alike,  and they’re affordable.
What do you think? Have you used Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks?

P.S. sorry for the ugly swatches

Urban Decay | Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

5:31 p.m.

Hi guys! Today’s review its about the Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Weightless Concealer, I’ve been using this for about a year so I thought I need to share my opinion.

Lets see what the brand claims:

“Hide even your most scandalous flaws. Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer gives you buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. Ultra lightweight, this high-tech formula melds like a second skin to give you full coverage in an instant. For complete coverage, just keep building; no matter how much you apply, Naked Skin Concealer always blends beautifully and NEVER settles into fine lines”.

My opinion: as this says it’s a full coverage concealer, I only use this to conceal the under eye area which is pretty problematic or at least I think it is haha. For me, everything that the brand says it does it really does it, it’s super lightweight and it blends beautifully.

I apply this with my real techniques sponge, I normally only apply one layer and for me that’s it, but I have tried using two layers and it looks really natural, sometimes I forget to set with powder and even without setting it, it doesn’t crease or settles into my fine lines.

I love the applicator, it’s like a flat doe foot and it’s pretty flexible. The packaging is really elegant but as you can see in my picture, the cap loses color, and you can see those black patches on it but I don’t mind them.

About longevity: I have worn this for 12 hours and its always in place, I have combo skin and this doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin.

I use this in the shade medium neutral, and this looks like it’s my skin and that I’m not wearing any makeup.

It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it. Have you tried it?

Hola! Hoy les traigo review del corrector de la marca Urban Decay: Naked Skin Weightless concealer. Lo he usado aproximadamente un año por lo que decide comentarles lo que pienso.

Empecemos por lo que la marca promete:
“Hide even your most scandalous flaws. Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer gives you buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. Ultra lightweight, this high-tech formula melds like a second skin to give you full coverage in an instant. For complete coverage, just keep building; no matter how much you apply, Naked Skin Concealer always blends beautifully and NEVER settles into fine lines”.

Clarins - Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation

4:43 p.m.

{Spanish version at the end of the English one}

Hi! Today’s review is about Clarins skin illusion loose powder foundation, I've been using this for a long time, so I thought It would be good idea to write about it.
Since I’ve been here I the blogging world I haven’t seen a lot of Clarins posts, I guess maybe people thinks it’s an old people brand or idk, but I have tried some products of it and they are pretty good.
So,lets see what clarins says about this product.
Silky, loose powder foundation—with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts.
Creates a radiant matte finish and a natural, bare skin effect. Built-in blending brush lets you decide the coverage—from light to medium.
Dermatologist-tested. Oil-free.

Ingredients:
A unique blend of mineral and plant-based trace elements includes:
Pink Opal Powder to infuse skin with radiance;
Pink Algae extract to stimulate and tone;
a special “Light Optimizing +” complex to capture, amplify and diffuse light.
Visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. Clarins’ exclusive Plant Micropatch maintains hydration, comfort and a soft skin texture.
Fights free radicals and pollution.

What I think: I have oily/combo skin and this, at it says leaves a matte finish, which I love because it doesn’t look cakey at all, it has great coverage, when I use this I always get complements about my skin being clear, as the name of the product says, it creates a skin illusion because you can really see that perfect skin look, and it doesn’t look like you are wearing makeup.

I usually wear this after I put my foundation, but just on my nose and forehead and still looks natural. This doesn’t flakes or accentuates dry patches.
This is dermatologist-tested and oil free, perfect for every skin type I think, this didn’t break me out, this has a smell but for me it’s really pleasant and it doesn’t stay on the face.
About longevity; it lasts a pretty decent amount of time, like 6 hours without my nose being all shiny.
The packaging is super beautiful, it looks really nice on your desk or wherever you put them haha, also, it has that little brush, I really like it, its great quality, but as you can see, it’s pretty bulky and I think it’s quite difficult to travel with and I guess this is a drawback for some people.
It’s pricey, or at least for me it is haha, but whenever I can, I would repurchase.

Have you tried this or have you used Clarins products? What do you think?

¡Hola!

Silky, loose powder foundation—with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts.

Colourpop | Review

5:59 p.m.

Hi guys! Hope you had a great start of the year, and today I’m reviewing some Colourpop products, hope you like it!

First, the lip products, I own Clueless, Beeper and Bumble from the Ultra matte lips, which I think they’re the most famous cause everybody on Youtube and here talked about them haha. In my opinion the colors are pretty great, you only need one layer to cover all your lips and the longevity its pretty great too, they last a long time and don’t transfer but this formula is super drying in my lips :( , they look like carton, especially with Clueless and Beeper I don’t know why I didn’t have that problem with Bumble, of course it was drying but not that much.

From the Ultra satin lip collection I have Echo park, which is a lovely peachy brown-nude , I love it, and the formula doesn’t suck the life out of lips buuut this a satin,so, it dries kind of matte, doesn’t shine at all but this transfers and doesn’t last long , I still prefer this formula over the ultra matte.

The Lippie Stix, I only own Lumiere, I really like this shade, its matte and the formula is amazing, doesn’t dry your lips, of course it doesn’t last that long, it’s like a regular lipstick. This has a chemical-like smell.

I only bought one eye shadow, Brady, which is a dusty rose, the page says its matte but it has a little bit of shiny particles. The formula it’s great, really buttery and I will purchase some other colors. I used this with an eye primer and it lasted all night.

Other eye product I bought was a crème gel liner in the shade Best O, the page says it’s a deepened burgundy but Its totally brown, at least to my eyes, it brown haha, I didn’t like this :( , it is really drying and hard to apply , also it broke at the instant I used it :(, but it lasts long, maybe I would purchase some other color and see if I have the same experience or not.

Do you like Colourpop? Which products have you used?
